"Extremely warm welcome from Vassili (immediately given bottled water on arrival) and all staff all so friendly and helpful. Room clean, bright and comfortable. Great breakfast on Terrace. "This was a fantastic choice for proximity to everything. We were able to walk to the Acropolis, National Archeological Museum, Ancient Agora and the streets of Plaka. The staff has been very friendly and helpful and the rooftop bar has a great view of the Acropolis. The only issue we had was with our bathroom door. "I loved that this hotel was near everything. Literally. Food, souvenir shops, meat and fish market, grocery store, restaurants, etc. if you’re looking to explore Athens this is the perfect hotel to stay at. The rooms are a little small, but might be large by European standards. I would say they are more for sleeping and showering, and not for spending the day in. The staff was great. The breakfast was not appealing, but there are great restaurants that serve brunch within close walking distance."
