"There was power outage that lasted all night and the property doesn’t have generator. They didn’t refund or gave us a discount. I wouldn’t recommend staying in this hotel."

"Air conditioning works great. We parked our rental car right in front of our room. Very clean room, housekeeping daily, have great manager and staff. Shower pressure is amazing. And have a beautiful little patio for smoking and non smoking peoples. Very close to Horbees and Pasta market. Walking distance."

"We decided to specifically stay there for the first time because we wanted, firepit, lanai, food, alcohol and a room with a jetted tub!! This is hands down the best jetted tub around! We travel a lot and stay in rooms that only have tubs, lanai, and fire. The staff was sooooo friendly and very helpful. The room was huge and had everything you could want for fabulous comfy stay! We're already re planning a trip just for the hotel."

"It was convenient for attending anything concert at Stanford Stadium. We actually walked back to the hotel afterwards to avoid traffic. For an older hotel, it was nice enough. Free parking is a plus."

"Was pleasantly surprised with this hotel. I went to a concert in the area and just needed a place to sleep, but I would 100% come back to stay multiple nights. Very clean, free parking, breakfast until 9:30, modern room design, complimentary sleep mask and slippers, and not to mention the friendly staff? wish I could give 6 stars."

"The Ameswell is a wonderful hotel with all the amenities for a hotel its size and class and then some. Hotel is impeccably clean, from the outside grounds, the common seating areas, the restaurants, and the room itself. We were greeted by a warm staff and check-in was flawless without a wait. The room is well equipped with a small refrigerator with room to store your drinks/food. Beds were comfortable. The bathroom was large and the walk-in shower had a rainfall shower head. I prefer more water...

"Great hotel, and amazing staff. The only downside was that the pool was much smaller than what we expected. So if you’re not booking for the pool, the hotel is wonderful."
