"My friend and I shared a unit with 2 singles in a bedroom and a double/queen in the lounge. It was clean and tidy. The newish owners are doing up the units and ours still had the old appliances but we are out most of the time instead of cooking.The shower was over the bath which didn't really work for easily getting out.."

"Fi and Peter are very helpful and friendly. The day before we arrived, the Highway to Arthurโs Pass was closed for to heavy snow. Fi monitored the situation closely and kept us informed when the roads finally opened after 6 hours. The motel is clean and well maintained with full kitchen facilities. It was warm and cosy and the hot bath was the best in winter! Highly recommend"

"We stayed w nights in the miners cottage and it was absolutely superb for our needs. Had our kids visit and play cards one evening and the other night we just blobbed out. Nice and quiet, and well appointed. The cottage had everything we needed and the meal we had in the bar after 6 hours driving was damned good. The service was fab and the staff were all incredibly helpful and friendly. Will happily stay there again."
