"When we arrived to the island, we took a taxi to the GPS location according to Hotels.com map. The pin was innaccurate, and 6 of us were stranded on another part of the island, 45 minutes away. Only due to a nice local Thai man, did we get a new taxi and find the villa. The villa in the photo shows a beach - we had no beach. "We enjoyed a great stay at this resort, and during low season it felt as though we had the place to ourselves. The beds were comfortable and the buffet breakfast, complete with an omelette station, was excellent. The pool, however, was rather dirty and had a noticeable green tint, with plenty of debris floating on the surface. It didn’t look especially inviting, but we gave it a try. Some sharp tiles on the pool floor caused a few near misses, so the pool is definitely in need of maintenance. We soon swapped the pool for the sea and found the private beach area wonderfully relaxing."
