"It is a gem located near the old town, 5 minutes walk to all the restaurants, cafeteria in front of the house. Very nice property, very clean, 2 full bedrooms and one small with bunk beds. Full kitchen with all the amenities, really well thought of everything. Even though we didn't cook, only used for making tea, but had everything, plenty of utensils, laundry machine. Very clean, easy communication with host"

"Beautifully appointed room, comfortable bed, charming private (or shared depending on the room) terrace with umbrella, table and chairs. The proprietor is helpful but not obtrusive. The property is just a couple of very short blocks from the archeological museum and the old town. We are not shoppers but we saw many stores within an easy walk. Highly recommended. "

"My family and I had an incredible short stay (1 night) at this hotel. The after hours check in was super easy with the door pass codes. The staff were super friendly and helpful the following day. Rooms were very clean, comfortable, and we loved the shower except for the privacy. My daughters had their own room and was a good thing because the showers offered no privacy in the room. "This is the first five star review I've ever left for a hotel in Crete. The Lady who liked after us during the stay was amazingly kind, helpful and generous. The property is gorgeous and the apartments are incredibly well furnished & arranged. The pictures do not do them justice. The beach is literally across the road and the town square is a 4 minute walk. Many good restaurants just steps away. This should be on the top of everyone's list of places to stay when visiting Kalamaki."
