Lovely hotel. Amazing restaurant. Excellent staff. A little remote which we loved but you do need a car to get out and see things. Had a wonderful time exploring the area and walks

The hotel staff went above and beyond to help us and our baby when we came in very late from bad weather! They helped make sure we had a table with food and were so kind to us. The breakfast was excellent with gorgeous views! Our baby loved seeing the animals outside the hotel and we wish we were able to stay longer!

Wonderful quaint location overlooking a valley, away from the drudgery of the city. The room is very clean and modern. The building is charming to say the least. Parking on-site and provided at no extra cost. Breakfast provided at no extra cost. Do stay here.

Friendly staff, free parking, everything was great, but quite remote, long n winding road . Ok if you just stay there in the neighbourhood. Very clean n a beautiful Gasthof, breakfast was also great with clean white table cloth . Love it.

The hotel is quite high at the end of a beautiful valley. The view from our balcony was amazing with cows grazing in the alpine fields. They recommended an hours walk to a hut and back which was really beautiful and peaceful. Came back to a lovely beer on the patio before a delicious dinner. The restaurant was buzzy and surprisingly full for the remote location. Breakfast the next morning was equally delicious. The staff are super friendly and welcoming and we wished we could have stayed had longer to try other walks around. Would highly recommend the hotel.

Nice, traditional country inn

We normally book the comfort room which was not available. The standard room was under the roof and several stairs had to be climbed. The room and the bath room were irreproachable clean and sufficient in size. WiFi worked without flaw. The breakfast buffet is offering a large choice of regional cold cuts and breads. Freshly cooked eggs can be ordered, scrambled eggs and bacon are available in a food warmer. The restaurant is popular with local guests. A reservation is recommended. The food of regional cuisine is delicious. Game meat of local origin is available.

I really liked the look of the hotel and the surroundings are beautiful! the room itself is nice, with a big tv screen. We used it as a overnight stay for our way back to NL. We will definitely come back again. I really liked the ambiance and the service and the comfort. They also made room for us to eat as we did not reserve a table and it was very busy, so I am very grateful! If I really need to give feedback, then it would probably be an airconditioning on the room itself. As the sun was shining and it was around 30 degrees which was really nice it would have been nice to have an airco on the room. Perhaps some tips on the surroundings in English.. and showergel in the shower. Again we loved our stay and this is just to improve the already nice experience we had ofcourse!

Schöner Aufenthalt und gutes Essen

Wir hatte dieses Mal ein Komfortzimmer gebucht und die Preisdiffernz ist gemessen an der Ausstattung und Zimmergrösse gerechtfertigt und die bessere Wahl. Die Zimmer sind neuwertig eingerichtet und sauber. Das Badezimmer befand sich ebenfalls in tadellosem Zustand. Das Essen im Restaurant ist schmackhaft, auf regionale Küche abgestimmt. .

Eine Perle im Schwarzwald

Super ruhig gelegen ist der Hirschen eine Perle im Schwarzwald. Zimmer modern eingerichtet, Gasthaus eher traditionell mit modernen Akzenten. Super geschlafen und dann ein sehr leckeres Frühstück. Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und herzlich. Wir kommen wieder!

Schönes, gemütliches Hotel. Sehr erholsam

Schönes, gemütliches Hotel. Frühstück sehr schamckhaft und reichhaltig, Covid gut gelöst, jeder Gast erhält Baumwollhandschuhe und kann sich so selbstständig bedienen. Der Kaffee ist sehr gut (eher ungewöhnlich für Deutschland;). Abendessen war ebenfalls gut. Wir kommen wieder.

Sehr empfehlenswertes Hotel in Alleinlage

Ein wirklich außerordentlich schön gelegenes Hotel mit landschaftlich sehr bemerkenswerter Umgebung; dazu eine sehr sympathische Inhaberin, die für jeden Gast ein freundliches Wort hat, ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Das Personal ist ausnahmslos freundlich und hilfsbereit. Unser Zimmer bot einen herrlichen Ausblick auf die Schwarzwaldlandschaft, war sehr geräumig und bot alle Annehmlichkeiten, die man sich wünscht. Das Parkplatzangebot ist sehr gut; das im Hotelpreis erhaltene Frühstück ist ausgezeichnet. Das hoteleigene Restaurant bietet eine sehr schmackhafte, regionale, gehobene Küche, die zudem für die gebotene Qualität eher preiswert ist, das Personal ist freundlich und perfekt. Wir werden bei passender Gelegenheit wiederkommen.

Das Hotel liegt ruhig und abgeschieden in wunderbarer Umgebung. Die Zimmer sind neu renoviert mit viel Geschmack.
