"This is based on viking theme and very well done..our unit was for 5, very cute cottage..very clean. Restauraunt next door. Between downtown rekayvik and the airport. Very pleasant lady at desk. We upgraded our room for an extra persin easily. Price very competitive compared to other places. Breakfast included ! Definetly recommend."

"We had a great stay at Sand Hotel. The location is right on a pedestrian shopping street full of restaurants, bars and coffee shops. (For an unforgettable meal, book a dinner reservation at the Old Iceland Restaurant.) All the local attractions are no more than a 15-20 minute walk, max. "We had a great stay at this hotel. Everyone was very nice. The hotel is about 30 minutes from Reykjavik. The lady at the front desk was super helpful. She helped us figure out how to use public transportation to get to the city center and buy some medicine. The room was nice and specious. There was no Phone in the room, so we had to go to the front desk if we needed something. I recommend this hotel just know is far from Reykjavik city. "

"Hotel Fron was perfect for our stopover in Iceland. The location was lively w many eating and shopping options. We had a car and was able to park close by in a parking garage when street parking wasn’t available. The staff was very friendly and do helpful. The breakfast was very good. There was some street noise, but nothing that kept us awake or lasted for extended periods. "

"Overall excellent hotel. There was some construction going on that caused some noise but that will abate once completed. Staff was outstanding."

"The place was quite pleasant. Nice and clean. There isn’t a front desk or daily housekeeping, but that was fine for us. They send you a code to get into the building and your room. Very easy. Location is close to a couple grocery stores and there’s a fridge in the room. My only complaint is the parking. It’s not totally clear which spots are free. Even with the video provided. There are some P2 paid parking spots near the Bonus if you don’t want to gamble. P2 is the cheaper option. "
