Food was great - with the full-board option it was probably the highest quality “all-inclusive” experience we had. Beach, pool, and water sports were all great. The resort itself is nice but still feels African which is why we booked it originally.

Kiwengwa beach is not as crowded or touristy as some. There is some mud and weeds at low tide but the tides are not very low and the swimming at high tide is enjoyable. We loved the pier to walk out to a thatched bar where they hold parties at night

The beach is soft and white. Prison Island should be on the list - see and feed the giant tortoises is a must - 30-40 minute boat-ride from Stonetown.
