This property worked very well for our April trip to the Outer Banks. The main selling points were: (1) Great accommodation for two adults and two teens. We had a unit with a living/dining area and kitchen, a master bedroom, and a separate loft room up a flight of steps, which gave the teens their own space. (2) There’s an indoor pool that we wanted in case the weather didn’t turn out to be good during our stay.
The property isn’t on the beach, but a few mins drive will take you to the hotel’s own parking lot which is very close to the beach. The parking lot was usually empty when we went - it may be very busy in peak summer thought.
There isn’t a restaurant onsite, which at first I thought was odd, but then realized that you don’t really need it with all the options nearby.
Overall, this was a great base for our trip. The weather turned out to be excellent, but we still enjoyed using the pool and hot tub in the evenings.
