"We drove here for over 2 hours from Nuremberg arriving at 7:30 pm. Upon arrival, we found the place completely dark with locked doors and a sign that said geschlossen (closed). We received no notification from them ahead of time that they were closed and we had already paid in full. This was my worst nightmare. Being in a small village without any other alternatives. We had to drive another 1 1/2 hours to find another place to stay. "

"Check in ab 13 Uhr war möglich, jedoch wurde uns erst ein anderes Zimmer als das gebuchte Superior-Zimmer (und bereits bezahlte) zugewiesen. Auf Nachfrage gab es das gebuchte unterm Dach. Wenn die Tagestemperaturen über 32 klettern hält man es dort nur aus, wenn die Klimaanlage funktioniert. Das tat sie nur für 30 Minuten, dann stieg sie aus. "For the one night we stayed it was good. Clean room, comfortable bed and great location. We didn’t purchase the breakfast so can’t comment on the food. We would stay there again. One final note, there is no air conditioning in the room but a fan was provided. Luckily when we stayed it wasn’t too hot so it worked out good. My only other recommendation would be to add blackout blinds or curtains as there were lots of windows with very early sunlight coming into the room."

"Solo traveler staying a couple of nights in town and wanted to be within the walls of the city. The staff was super helpful and friendly. Room was perfect for my needs and even had a bathtub so I was able to do a quick load of laundry as I’m currently in the middle of my journey from hiking the alps and making my way around the county. Room was affordable and perfect, my only regret is I wished I would have tried the restaurant attached as their spring menu looked fantastic."

"Started out with a rather Kurt check in. We are aware of.the language barrier, but no need for rudeness. Room was okay, was a bit stuffy on an 85 degree day. Breakfast was a real pain. Almost every hotel we have stayed in, only a room number was required. As it turns out they wanted prepayment and made a scene in the service room. Not a terrible stay, but staff could be a little bit more aware of language and cultural differences."
