"This was a lovely spot which was a large room and a parking lot. They are a little weird about making sure you booked for meals which were expensive. I have food issues and they tried hard but I donโt really think they get allergies. The manager was phenomenal with my husbandโs request to have something he left behind sent on ahead to our next stop. The staff varied in helpfulness. Some were great and others not so. For us it was a good location as we wanted to go to the Isle of Skye and I left it too late to book a place there. It ended up being good as we ended up doing things close by on our last day at Fort Augustus which is better than Fort William if you donโt want to hike."

"A lovely hotel, either as a stopover or a base for touring the area. The reception staff are very helpful and friendly, the restaurant manager was lovely guy and the girl in charge of breakfasts managed to be courteous, friendly and efficient despite coping with breakfast service all on her own. Highly recommended."

"Room was clean, bed comfy, nice surprise that the tv was in the bottom of the bed! Shower was a bit dirty round the door with gunk and the door didnโt close properly so ended up mopping a big puddle after use. For the quality and standard of the hotel I thought the shower would have been more upgraded than it was but that was the only thing and just my personal preference. Also our room was situated right above the kitchens we think so at 7am all the air con units fired up right outside our window, which wasnโt ideal. Apart from that it was excellent!!"

"A hotel with lots of character. Excellent free parking across the road. Staff at reception very friendly and personal - spent time explaining and showing us facilities. Dinner in restaurant was first class and reasonably priced. Also enjoyed breakfast. Couple of minor issues with bedroom which were corrected within minutes of them being reported."
