"The staff was helpful and friendly from the moment we got out of our taxi at the curb. We had a few oversized luggage pieces and a member of staff noticed as she was arriving for her shift. She helped us over to the side door where there was small lift that enabled us to get our luggage in effortlessly. The staff was friendly from the time we arrived to the time we left, no matter who we were talking with. Bathrooms are my big pet peeve if they aren't clean then the rest of the room isn't clean. The bathroom was spotless, and so was the rest of the room. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it for others."

"We had two rooms on different dates, both executive rooms on 11th floor, but quite different experiences. Room 1108 was quiet with a corner view of the River Clyde. Room 1101 was noisy both because of the view over Glasgow Central rail station and the constant departure of trains late at night, as well as the clattering pipes and scraping aircon fan and noisy neighbours in an adjacent room. In 1108 the privacy shutter on the door lens was missing, which unfortunately meant the hallway light was brightly focused on the bed (we stuffed it with tissue to maintain privacy). Breakfasts were good and the staff polite. The executive lounge was useful for free tea/coffee/snacks."

"Housekeeping and cleanliness throughout the hotel was of a very high standard. The staff were very helpful and polite providing relative information on our arrival. The bar was of a very high standard offering a great selection of drinks and cocktails all prepared expertly by their highly qualified barman Benjamin. He brought an energy to the bar amongst all the residents drinking there when we were. The atmosphere was happy and friendly. Breakfast was ok but selection of cooked foods was disappointing. Of the 6 items on offer there was no sausages, haggis or beans when we were there. So only bacon, hash browns and scrambled egg available. I did manage to acquire a fried egg but only by asking a waiter who relayed my request to the chef. Fresh fruit was nicely prepared and adequate selection. Plain yogurt was nice quality. Tea/coffee machine was decent quality and good selection of coffee and tea bags. So hotel and bar Iโd give 9/10. Iโd like to have a small fridge in the rooms to make this 10/10. Breakfast Iโd give 5/10."
