"The only thing was that the 'beach' nearest the resort is not swimmable (mostly rocks)-however we, walked further up and there was actually sand, but the beach looked unsafe with a visible drop off in ocean--but it was ok for a nice stroll--just not too far from hotel. Make sure you let hotel staff know at check-in if you want your room cleaned (which we prefer..)--especially if you have beach activities what with all the sand, showering and change of clothes. Otherwise, they have everything...

I had an issue with Expedia because I booked and paid for a Premium Oceanfront Room but upon check in I learned that this was not the room reserved for us. We were supposed to be in 318 which was going to be more basic and after arguing with Expedia for over an hour we ended up in 324 which was essentially the same. "Great location; awesome pool. Food is not bad but very expensive. Luckily it's close to restaurants and the Harbor Mall. Rooms are very spacious and nicely furnished. One complaint was with my mattress - I could hear and feel the springs..."
