"My husband and I stayed for 3 nights at Coopmanhuijs while in Stellenbosch. It was fantastic! The staff was super friendly and acommodating. The restaurant was outstanding. Our reservation included breakfast and we were able to order off of a menu and/or opt for the generous buffet. We also ate dinner at the restuarant and it was beyond delicious. (Springbok carpaccio!) We don't usually relax in common hotel spaces, but everyone was so welcoming that we did spend some time in the lounge...

"We stayed in a deluxe villa on the estate. Communication prior to arrival was excellent and it was easy to book a reasonably priced transfer from the airport. They kindly allowed us a complimentary (very) early check in and that was fantastic after a long flight. The room was very spacious with a stunning view from the patio. It was quiet and peaceful. "What a gem! Andrew and Charmaine are wonderful hosts, so friendly, and helpful with tips about restaurants in the area, and more. The guesthouse is wonderful. The furnishings, fixtures and fittings are modern and functional. The bed was comfy. The room amenities included a safe, small fridge, AC, TV and coffee/tea station. The bathroom was well appointed.
