"From the moment we arrived we were made to feel very welcome by Francesca. The apartment was spotless and tastefully furnished, with everything we needed. The outside area was beautiful with amazing views. I have never been anywhere so peaceful and relaxing with such great hospitality. "Amazing place! Very clean, great location: center of Canneto, right across from the beach (crystal clear water), and 10 min drive to the center of Lipari. The proprietor, Nicola is a very kind and generous person. He helped us with great suggestions, reservations for restaurants and excursions. "This is an excellent family-owned hotel with fabulous decor just a 10 minute walk from the ferry terminal. It's location about 3 minutes from the main street means it's nice and quiet. "We were in Italy 5 weeks, and Lipari was my favorite place. We liked it so much we decided to stay two extra days. We used the common kitchen area and had an enjoyable time meeting others doing the same thing. It made our room seem twice as large. "

"It pains me to give this hotel a poor-to-average review because we liked Paolo, our host, very much. He was very helpful and provided excellent communication. However, we were awakened each morning we were there (3 days) before 7:30 am by a barking dog that was so close by that it seemed to be in the room with us. The beds were also too hard for us. If you're an early riser (or if the dog goes away) and you like firm mattresses, this is a fine hotel with a very nice swimming pool and a gracious host."
