"The front staff are very friendly 💯👏👏 however during dinner, there were no varieties and also drinks were not included, at least a glass of juice per person would work. I Also requested for a packed breakfast, however there was no menu to choose from, and also was packed without cutlery. My daughter accidentally scratched her face at the beach, we requested for a first aid or an Elastoplast, only to be told it was not available. At the poolside, we ordered chicken nuggets and lollipops but they were not well cooked. I called the waiter to send the food back to the kitchen, but we never saw the food again "

"Traveling solo to Kenya for the first time, I was embraced by the staff at this delightful boutique hotel. They took the time to be sure I had everything I needed. It was a pleasure to be able to walk down to the dining room for tea in the afternoon and for delicious dinner in the evening. I give them my highest recommendation, particularly for solo women traveling to Kenya. "

"excellent place. Extremely good location to beach and next door, PrideInn, where you csn dine at their buffet and access their pool for a low price. Mosquitoes were an issue, nightly. Bettet sealed windows and fixing the boarded living room doors would help. Bathrooms were not very clean. "

"Great location, pictures don’t show the beauty of the hotel, very kind and professional staff, very good for family vacation play ground, few pools, access to the beach but not entertainment at the beach. "

"Al Capone club is close by and still at 4am they were playing their music with loud bass so not a good place for hotel. Al Capone is new so a big disadvantage to hotels. Hotel was clean but pool closed at 6pm for cleaning which should be later. Otherwise room was ok."

"Cocoa Boutique Hotel has a lot going for it, especially its exceptional staff. A special thank you to Josephine, the receptionist/supervisor, who truly stood out. She is gentle, pleasant, and an excellent problem solver who immediately puts guests at ease. Josephine demonstrates true leadership skills (and the outlook of a professional). The made to order breakfast was also well-received. Yummy! Our initial room had a few minor issues that would have affected our overall enjoyment. However, the situation was handled quickly and fairly—Josephine and the General Manager offered us an upgraded room that exceeded our expectations. Much appreciation as well to Joshua, who handled our luggage with great care. The new room was absolutely exquisite. That said, the hotel itself is showing its age and could benefit from some repairs. Many pieces of furniture are quite worn. Still, the property has tremendous potential. I especially loved all the breezy, comfortable areas to sit and relax. The ocean-view balconies are a highlight—one evening, I even spotted a camel walking along the beach from our balcony, which was a fun and memorable surprise. The beach itself has a lot of seaweeds but there were still good swimming spots. Overall, this hotel is a hidden gem. With a little TLC, it could easily be restored to its former glory."

"Front office staff was amazing! However, upon check in they tried to give me a room with a garden view instead of sea view room I had paid for. Had to ask for it to be sorted. Room was dusty, with cobwebs. On the last day there was no running water. Do not disturb sign on my front door was disregarded had maintenance knocked on my door at 6am. Awful experience!"
