"Great clean, comfortable, updated hotel in Keystone. Loved balcony, had a view of a small part Mount Rushmore. Although we were in town and close to a bunch of eateries the walk up and down the steep hill was too much for our senior legs. Would return again "

"There are a lot of steps to the cabins or rooms up the hill. So, if you have old achy knees, think twice. We had to walk up 16 or more stone steps up a steep embankment to get to our room. Painful! Most cabins or room had wooden steps. The good part was the staff were nice, helpful, friendly. The on-property restaurant served breakfast, lunch and dinner and was very good and reasonable. Had a beautiful setting."

"The hotel was great for low frills. Location is everything...there was so much to see and do within walking distance. It is so close to Mount Rushmore and Custer State Park. Our first night in Keystone a severe thunderstorm knocked out power to entire town for about five hours. Not the hotel problem, but unfortunate nonetheless. There were many of us outside on the patio and deck for about an hour. We went to bed without electricity. The pool is insanely cold. COLD. The hot tub was great...

However, the staff at the water park were so rude and completely unnacceptable. We didnt end up being able to use it due to a storm and were rushed out of the door upon arriving. "
