"This was like an apartment style stay, but a much more cooler experience. The suites are very nicely designed, spacious, and comfortable. The entire staff was very friendly, attentive & accommodating with round the clock reception customer service. It’s also at a walkable distance from the beach & cute shops. We will definitely stay here again when we plan a trip to Bali!"

"The stay was ok. Staff were friendly and was always ready to offer assistance. And garden was maintained and cleaned. Beds were comfortable. Rooms were clean but could require more attention to detail. We stayed during christmas season, and understood that it is the busy season. When we arrived, one of our rooms were not ready yet and have to wait an hour after expected check_in time. It was ok, however, we were tired after a long flight. And waiting for a room that you would expect to...

"A well presented hotel/apartment complex located a very short walk to the beach and just off the main road with all of the bars, restaurants and shops. Despite the proximity to the busy road, the place is very quiet - set sufficiently back to be peaceful. The pools are nice but small. Staff are great. Privacy is a difficult to find in the rooms nearest the bar (balcony and room is overlooked by the bar/cafe)."

"Loved our experience here. Staff very friendly and helpful. Paid extra for breakfast and it was really good breakfast served daily with option of having it served in room or to have it on the rooftop. Villa looked exactly like the photos. Would definitely stay here again. And very quiet, not much noise during night which was also very good. Very pleasant experience. Daily house keeping. Loved the vibes here. "At 1:00 am traffic from the international arrivals Grab lounge was 28 minutes. Check in with passport was smooth. Convenience store is across the street. For purchasing drinking water or other forgotten amenities. The hotel provides refillable glass bottles and water from a filtered water station at the reception center but we chose to purchase from the store. Hotel is five minutes from the port which is the prime reason for selecting this hotel. If your first stop is Nusa Penida and you...

Desa Potato Head Bali

Desa Potato Head Bali

10/10 Cemerlang
"We stayed at Desa Potato Head and it truly exceeded every expectation. We originally booked the Sunrise Studio, but upon arrival we were surprised with a complimentary upgrade to the Garden Suite, which was such a thoughtful gesture and set the tone for the rest of our stay. What stood out most was how warm and genuine the service was. Every staff member we encountered, from the buggy driver to the pool staff to the reception team, was consistently welcoming, friendly, and attentive. A special mention to Yogi, who assisted us throughout our stay and genuinely made us feel taken care of from the moment we checked in until we checked out. His sincerity and attentiveness really made the experience feel personal. We also truly appreciated the hotel’s commitment to sustainability. Upon check-in, we were given reusable tumblers to use throughout the stay since the hotel does not use single-use plastics, and we even got to bring them home. It’s such a thoughtful and meaningful touch that reflects their values. We spent most of our time relaxing by the pool and were continually delighted by the small details, from complimentary jamu shots to fresh fruit and papaya or watermelon ice cream. These gestures may seem small, but they made us feel genuinely cared for and added so much warmth to the experience. Everything about the hotel—the atmosphere, design, energy, service, sustainability mindset, and people—made this stay incredibly memorable."
