"We really liked this hotel. It felt very traditional Bavarian. We wished we could have stayed longer. We arrived late and had an excellent dinner. Unfortunately the kitchen closed at 8pm and we could not get the desert we wanted. And the restaurant was closed the next two days so we could not have another dinner. This is a family run hotel. "We were greeted at the reception by a friendly lady and even though we were early, we got to check in. There was a welcoming plate of cookies at the reception which proved to be a delight for my daughter. We got a family accommodation and it was two separate rooms with separate bathrooms. Pleasantly surprised by that. Very clean rooms. The walking distance to places was close enough - to the train station, to the river and to the city centre. "

"What was unique was the peaceful surroundings and mountain views. Staff was unusually helpful, pleasant and polite. Manuella at the desk always greeted us with a smile and deserves 5 stars fro her service. What I did not like was the hotel has a laundry service for an exhorbitant rate. They should just find a place and install self srvice machines, as then people would plan longer stays there because the peace and tranquility that comes from the mountain views is super amazing."
