Best Luxury Hotels in Eastern Cambodia

"This is a beautiful, small hotel in a rural part of Cambodia. My suite had a large balcony and Mekong view. All the food i had there was excellent and freshly prepared. Staff were always helpful but occasionally difficult to find Not many foreign tourists in this area so dont expect English to be other than basic apart from what i took to be the hotel manager. A delightful stay in a historic hotel."

"Lovely hotel on an island in the middle of the Mekong river, with several wooden bungalows. Huge pool which is well maintained. The best part are the surroundings as it is very green and quiet (no cars allowed). Transfer was a little stressful as the guidebook indicated the wrong location to catch the public boat (it is no longer by the Jasmine Boat restaurant but at the Kratie Boat Port - more indications by email from the hotel would have helped). Also, the phone number indicated on Expedia...

"The hotel is nice and the staff is helpful and friendly. The pool is great although the long chairs are quite old. The only major disappointment was that it is far from the downtown area so we had to order a Tuk Tuk to take us there or walk for about 30 minutes."
