"Bear in mind that I only saw one room (penthouse, balcony). This is an older property. I have stayed at a number of historic properties before and this one is maintained to what I would say is a minimum level (peeling paint and wallpaper, beat up furniture), which is not to say that it is not clean. "I didn't like that no one was at the front desk upon my arrival and had to wait 15 mins for them to return. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great, lots of choice. I would stay there again."

"We had Cottage 19. A large well-kept cottage, with a full kitchen (fridge, stove, microwave, dishwasher) plus a washer and a dryer. The wide deck in front of the Cottage offered a great view of the St. Lawrence river, as did too the kitchen/dining/TV room being the first room to enter. Breakfast was included, with a choice of cold and hot items. Very friendly staff. Nice gardens. Recommended."
