"The staff was helpful and friendly. The hotel was decent with a decent breakfast. The sofa bed mattress was terrible. My son slept in the sofa cushions on the floor. The elevator broke a couple times so we took the stairs."

Marriott as a brand is what I would select with the expectation that an acceptable level of cleanliness would be provided. Too many recent (last 2-3 years) disappointments. "Doubletree is a dependably high-quality hotel, so when we had a choice between other brand names and this one, we went for the Doubletree (you can't beat the cookies). Well away from the Vegas Strip with close access to services we needed, this hotel checked all our boxes.
