"This is a huge old house which has been converted into a hotel in a nice suburb of Dublin, 20/30 mins from city centre depending on transport and traffic. No amenities on site but the rooms are modern and comfortable and I have stayed there many times without any complaints. "

"A really spacious bedroom with immaculately clean bathroom incredible hot water and powerful showers plus the best bed makers in Dublin, all contribute towards a great stay at the plaza. Free parking to boot. We will be back we are regular visitors to Duncan and have tried all the hotels. This is the best. "

"This hotel is lovely, and has a lot of charm and character and it was a pleasant stay. It was convenient for me. However, rather than “do not disturb” as is customary in hotels, this hotel only provides housekeeping service by request. Not understanding this backwards way of doing things, I had no service in the four days I stayed. I’d seen the weak reviews about the hotel breakfast but the place was busy so we gave it a try: breakfast took *over an hour* to arrive at our table and was tepid, not fresh or hot, when it did arrive.
