"This property was AMAZING for my daughter’s 10th birthday gathering. The restaurant seated us specially so the kids could be themselves together and then we had the kids up to a suite where they put us in a great corner unit where we wouldn’t get any noise complaints :) we are so grateful! The staff also made our daughter a special cake for when we checked in."

"There is no doubt this is an older hotel/motel. The rooms are small but very well organized. The only addition I would say is a chair in the bedroom. They have taken on the challenge of recycling and do it very well. The breakfast is simple but ample. They have a pillow menu, the towels were fluffy, bright white. And the amenities were well chosen and complete the emphasis on clean organic and recycling. There is a"great room" with multiple televisions, a pool table and nice seating, and...

"We had made a special request to have an east or south facing room and on a higher floor because we paid for the premium room which are on floors 7 to 9. We ended up being offered a room facing west on the eighth floor. It turned out to be quite difficult to get another room, but they ended up giving us one on the seventh floor facing south, which was good. We did feel like a second class citizen because we had gone through Expedia. They explained that they no longer offer another beverage to...

"An absolute delight to stay here, especially in the tea house proper. The room had so much personality, and right from the start, the staff made it clear that they would help us with anything we needed. Afternoon tea was flawless, and the breakfast was top-notch. We wish we’d stayed longer than one night!"

"The windows in our room were so dirty that it was hard to see the view. The rug was thread bear and had a hole that had been poorly repaired with the rug pad showing through . The gardens may have been lovely in years gone by but clearly aren’t getting any attention now. For almost $400 Canadian/ night I would expect more attention to detail and care for this beautiful old home. I won’t return"
