Lovely family-run hotel service in room excellent cleaned every day and fresh bed linen and towels left if wanted. Pay for a sea view if you can especially room 206 has a very large balcony from which you can relax and enjoy life in Argostoli from seeing the daily ferry to Lixouri and also the large sea cruise liners arriving into port. If you want car hire the hotel can arrange for you with Mercury for very good affordable daily rates. Kefalonia as a Greek island is beautiful and if you want to experience traditional greek life and food then it is the island for you.

The owner,his daughter and the man who works there are very friendly and helpful but if you need proper studio facilities this is not the place for you more room only/bb but the location is great and we enjoyed our holiday

Very friendly and helpfull staff. They gave us a lot of usefull Information about Kefalonia. They even send us a package of clothes we forgot in our room. We would go to King Agamemnon again because of the nice hotel and the city of Argostoli.

Great location , close to shops & restaurants . Lovely harbour view . Our hostess Katia was lovely very welcoming & helpful with local knowledge where to eat & visit in Kefalonia . No safe there to hold personal items . Enjoyed our stay here .

Nice balcony view. Friendly owner. However, no tv remote, no towels, no breakfast, no staff to check-out in the morning. Hairs all over bed-sheets. Basically a youth-hostel and not a great example of one either.

Gutes Hotel in hervorragender Lage

Wir waren für fünf Tage in diesem Hotel. Lage ist hervorragend direkt am Yachthafen wo eine Fähre rüber auf die andere Seite fährt, und 5 Gehminuten vom Zentrum entfernt wo zahlreiche Geschäfte und Restaurants Bars sich befinden. Bushaltestelle war in unmittelbarer Nähe. Wir sind am Abend spät angereist und dort Empfang uns Wissen Hotelbesitzerin Tochter wir wurden sehr herzlich und empfangen. Am nächsten Tag war auch der Hotelbesitzer da und gab uns zahlreiche Tipps rund um die Insel. Frühstück hatten wir nicht gebucht darüber können wir uns nicht äußern. die Zimmereinrichtung war schlicht und völlig ausreichend für einen kurzen Aufenthalt,Fernseher ,Dusche Föhn,Kühlschrank im Zimmer Klimaanlage und dies alles kostenfrei. Wir haben jeden Tag frische Handtücher bekommen und das Bett wurde gemacht, allerdings wurde leider nicht durch gelehrt oder durchgewischt das ist das einzigste was wir zu bemängeln haben. Ansonsten würden wir jederzeit wieder in dieses Hotel gehen. Das Hotel besitzt leider keinen Pool oder der Sonnenterrasse, ein kleines Minus fallsFamilien dort Urlaub machen. WLAN war auch kostenfrei im Hotel und am Haupteingang vorne gab es eine kleine Terrasse wo man sich hinsetzen konnte und frühstücken konnte. man hat sich sicher und aufgehoben gefühlt Im Bad war der Föhn defekt das haben wir bei der Ankunft bemerkt und prompt hat man sich direkt darum gekümmert und ich habe einen Ersatz Föhn erhaltene der Service war wirklich top.

Auch wenn es nur ein Aufenthalt für eine Nacht war Und auf Komfort und Luxus verzichtet werden kann, darf man ein sauberes Zimmer erwarten. Leider war dies nicht der Fall. Scheinbar würde dort seit Wochen, wenn nicht sogar seit Monaten nicht richtig geputzt. Bestes Beispiel der Duschkopf, der vor Kalk schon gebrochen war und kaum noch Wasser spendete. Zudem hat das Zimmer stark nach zigarettenqualm gerochen. Gerade als Nichtraucher besonders unangenehm. Leider keine Empfehlung, auch nicht wenn man nur eine Nacht in Argostoli verbringen möchte. Schade!

Schönes Hotel

Schönes Hotel in Hafennähe, sehr zentral in der Hauptstadt gelegen, viele Restaurants in der Nähe und zu Fuß erreichbar! Balkone mit Meerblick! Und ein super Chef, der einem viele tolle Ausflugsziele zeigt u für jedes Anliegen ein offenes Ohr hat! Kann ich nur empfehlen!

Hotel situato in una posizione strategica davanti al porto e a pochi minuti dalla piazza.Il sig Agamennone e'gentilissimo al mio arrivo mi ha fornito una mappa di Cefalonia e tutte le info sui luoghi da vedere.La mia camera era vista mare con frigo,a/c e riscaldamento, tv schermo piatto, wi fi gratis perfettamente funzionante, sapene e shampoo,terrazzino con tavolo e un ministendino. A disposizione cucina dell'hotel per farvi il te'o scaldare qualcosa col microonde. Ascensore. Vi consiglio di noleggiare un mezzo per godervi l'isola il parcheggio e'gratis davanti all'hotel.La struttura e'semplice ed informale perfetta per chi cerca una posizione strategica , tranquilla ma con tutti i servizi che offre la citta'di Argostoli. L'hotel si trova su una bella passeggiata che da sulla baia di Argostoli molto suggestivo e'il ponte pedonale che vi porta dall'altra sponda. Se torno a Cefalonia andro'di nuovo all'hotel King per la gentilezza ed ospitalita'del proprietario Agamennone.I prezzi sono molto convenienti per essere in citta'.

L'hotel si trova in una posizione perfetta per muoversi e girare l'isola. A 5 minuti di auto da Costa Costa beach e a 2 minuti a piedi dal traghetto per andare sull'altra sponda dell'isola. Il proprietario è gentile e cordiale e sempre disposto a dare agli ospiti consigli e suggerimenti di itinerario. La nostra camera non era un granché ma perché abbiamo prenotato l'ultima disponibile che costava meno. Ho visto le camere del piano di sopra ed erano molto belle e più grandi. Nel complesso lo consiglio assolutamente.

Perfect and opposite the ferry terminal

Very friendly and helpful staff. Every morning the reception man made me a cup of tea. Excellent location and bed was very comfortable. Perfect for everyone. I was a solo traveller and felt safe, welcomed and the rooms are very clean.

One night stay.

We stayed for one night before going to the airport. When we arrived the boss gave us a glass of his homemade wine, just what you need after your journey to the hotel. It is a very friendly hotel, the staff make you very welcome, we had stayed before and the receptionist remembered us which was nice. We asked where we could get breakfast nearby and they made breakfast for us - what more could you ask for? A taxi was ordered to take us to the airport. The receptionist carried our bags out to the taxi.
