"Horses for courses really. Very highly rated by others - walkers and wine buffs, perhaps - but it wasn’t for us. The building is very attractive; the proprietor was very pleasant; the breakfast was good. The room was spacious & clean but badly thought out - e.g. amongst other things, power sockets for the bedside were behind the bed and inaccessible, the loo was situated below a very low, sharp point of the ceiling, the curtains served no purpose at all. We didn’t manage to get wi-fi at all in...

"Very modern and spacious room. Plenty of space for the family to feel comfortable. Surprisingly modern inside with a fan/light in the main bedroom and comfortable beds in both rooms. Spacious toilet with an amazing shower. The view from the terrace is special overlooking the Moselle river. This area in Germany is a hidden gem. The town itself the hotel is in is beautiful and so is Cochem. Would definitely come again and stay in the same hotel"

"Nice family run hotel with helpful hosts. Enjoyed conversations over breakfast about the local area and things to do. Clean large room with view over the street. Free Riverside parking a short walk from the hotel. Nice alternative to staying directly in Cochem."

"Wir wurden sehr nett willkommen geheißen. Das Personal und der Service waren generell sehr herzlich und aufmerksam. Herzstück und Aushängeschild des Hotels ist das außergewöhnliche, vielseitige und liebevoll zubereitete bzw. angerichtetete Frühstück. Jeden Morgen ein Highlight. Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig, nur im Bad fehlte es an Ablagefläche. Die zugehörige Weingalerie ist ebenfalls sehr empfehlenswert und einladend."
