"Our family stayed for overnight only but it was a wonderful time. The rooms were clean and well maintained. Breakfast had good selections. Great amenities and walking distance to the falls. Parking was across the street in a building and they validate but since we had a big van (12 sitter van), the person in the front desk was very kind and courteous for letting us park the car within the facility."

"Rachel and the staff at the Grandview are amazing. The views are amazing and the location to town, the venues, and the shopping are perfect. The dining at the Grandview Restaurant is awesome. The breakfast is amazing and the food and the views in the Great Room restaurant and the patio make it a special dining experience. It is a great place to go relax and enjoy the Lake Placid area."

Woodcliff Hotel and Spa

"Pros: The Woodcliff Hotel and Spa is a gorgeous place with clean, luxury rooms and a lot of amenities. Staff were friendly. Loved walking around the grounds with the dogs (a dog-friendly hotel!). Access to walking trails. Golf course and spa. Complimentary coffee bar access. Nice restaurant. Cons: Parking is limited. You may end up having to park at the very back of the lot, which isn’t fun when try to cart tour luggage back and forth. It was also pretty noisy at night during my stay as my hotel room was right above the main lobby which was hosting not only a huge wedding party but the Knicks Game 5 finals. The shouts and chants went on pretty late as you can imagine. Exceptional cases, but room placement really can determine the quality of tour stay and unfortunately my room was exposed to the worst of it."
