"This property first age was in very good condition. For the price it was a tremendous value. Short walk to the embarcadero area and also very close to everything in the downtown area. The staff was extremely helpful and not ever in your way. I would highly recommend this as a good place to stay while you're visiting a very beautiful seemingly unknown little Beach and Oceanside area of California. There are a lot of good golf courses close by also."

"The property is beautiful. The rooms were wonderful. However, check-in is at 3 o’clock and our room nor were our friends rooms ready until after 3:30. It worked ok as we all sat in the beautiful lawn area overlooking the bay. The attendant in the office did not have a smile, seems subdued and was not friendly. She was probably stressed however, as guests, we needed a happier, greeting.😁. But we will go back again!"

"The room was big, clean, and looked recently (past few years) remodeled. The bed, linens, and pillows were comfy. The bathroom was clean and the shower temperature/pressure was great. The room had good amenities like mini fridge, microwave, TV, luggage rack, and table/seating. Parking was plentiful and easy. Check-in process was quick. We brought our dog which was $30/night, and they gave us a bag of treats and poop bags. Pricing was very reasonable. The only issue was that the AC unit (unused) made this drip drip drip sound every few seconds for a few hours late at night. We unplugged it but it was too late to get help or switch rooms. We had to use earplugs to sleep. Reported to the front office in the morning."
