"The house and room were clean. A good breakfast was served."

"The staff at the property were very nice and helpful. The only difficulty about the property was the lack of an elevator when one of us had mobility problems. The staff volunteered to help us find another property where this wouldn’t be an issue but we loved the property and the location so chose to stay. The staff went out of their way to make things work for us and we had a wonderful stay. I would give this property an extremely high recommendation… my favorite stay of our 5 week long...

"Room was not clean. Room smelled musty, we spent the day in the sunroom. I was at the Pines over Thanksgiving, minimal staff, bar and spa closed. No morning coffee in the lobby. A bus tour came through, cookies and punch were put out for them, with a note that regular guests should not have any. A fire in the fireplace would have been nice in the evening. And of course, the elevator was not working, which meant carrying luggage up and down stairs. Not very festive for the Holiday"

"Friendly owner, great breakfasts, good location."

"clean well maintained"

"Great location to walk into town, but off the main road. Charming old Victorian. Lovely large room with brand new bathroom and big shower. Covered porch with view of the water. Charming dining room for breakfast and a nice selection of food. Lively pub next door for dinner (but not noisy)."
