The unique daily game drives had our Bush Bar (best bar in South Africa, thanks to Benjamin and Penwey) interrupted by a Nyala being chased by a wild dog. "I had a fantastic stay at Motswari. It’s so welcoming and the staff treats you like family or old friends visiting. The hotel is beautiful, the delicious breakfast overlooking the river and the dinner in the bush were unforgettable experiences. "Staying with the sisters who run the property and the other staff became increasingly pleasant with every passing day. Plus, I was more than comfortable in my room, where they don't skimp on pillows for those of us who like to sit up in bed to work. There's no generator on the premises for the load-shedding but that's normal for comparable properties. Just stay atune to the schedule is what I learned in southern Africa."
