"The lodge was lovely. Very spacious and quiet. Be mindful that the property is on a long gravel road so keep that in mind for travel times. I think we were unlucky on the day we arrived as we were going to visit the fireside grill for dinner but when we got there they were closing an hour early, however the man running it was very polite. Although the lodge has a fridge, coffee maker and microwave, it would have been useful to have some spoons/plates etc for stirring/food."

"Room felt like you were in a cosy cabin. Bedroom lacked a curtain, bathroom shower nob came off as hubby was trying to do the water temperature so needless to say it was a quick cold shower. Person at the desk was on the gruff side and not the friendliest."

"While the room we stayed in was good. Clean and appeared new, the property outside, particularly around the side and back was not great. Orange construction fences on their sides, junk and garbage at the back and down to the lake. The hotel listing shows as 'lakeside', however our walk down to the lake was disappointing. Once at the lake, we saw broken patio furniture and an unmaintained area. My husband carried a broken chair up to the hotel area for the garbage. A nicer, clean and maintained...

"We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel, primarily due to its incredible location. Being literally steps from the lake was perfect and made the trip worthwhile. The room was affordable and came with the basic amenities you'd expect. However, we did notice a few issues that held it back from being excellent. The cleanliness was moderate; things weren't dirty, but they could have been more thorough. Also, the table in our room was broken, which was a minor inconvenience."
