"Husband and I are here on last leg of a birding trip. This is one of 10 of places we have stayed, and is our favorite ecolodge. Lots of birds on the property, and stay includes a complementary bird tour on-site. We did all meals food plan; meals are basic, made with fresh ingredients and full portions. "If you want to be right in the middle of nature and wildlife this is the place to go. Most of the resort is raised up into the treetops so you can be eye level with creatures you'd usually only see way above you from the ground. "Walkway from room to restaurant is very steep, uneven and without bars or rails. It a little dangerous for seniors. The food however is absolutely amazing. Franklin is great, helpful and friendly. Need to have coffee in the room. Need to have cups to drink water or coffee. Need grab bars in shower."
