"We have stayed at the Fireside Inn many times over the years and I think it is looking old and not maintained as well as it should be. The staff were very accommodating at Tom's Place and Bistro Stefan in the morning (only open for breakfast during the week). There are no movies available on the tv in the room and our tv was at 82 in volume one morning, like it was possessed."

"The air conditioning/ heating worked well. The furniture and everything is so dated and worn and dirty. I checked everywhere on the bed to make sure there were no bed bugs or anything. The sheets were clean and fresh and the bed was comfortable but the hot water in the shower you couldn't adjust it properly. I unplugged the mini fridge because it sounded like it was going to explode. I had to manually turn the TV on and off and the remote barely worked. I made sure I wore slippers especially...

"The parking was easy, it was close to our room. The room had a full kitchen but there wasn’t everything you need to cook, you would need to bring your own. There were a few items. The room was clean and beds were comfortable. The check in was a close call. We still haven’t determined what went wrong or who’s to blame?? When we arrived they had no record of are booking. I booked a month ahead. We called Expedia and could not hear her, it was breaking up. She said she would try to call the hotel...

"Really friendly staff who were really helpful and accommodating. Room was clean and modern. Relatively quiet but can hear other guests in the walkway and outside with church bell nearby. Parking lot was closed for maintenance, but cheap open air car park a minutes walk away easily accessible. Would definitely recommend staying here again!"

"Clean room, bed was good and soft bedsheets and soft towels. Good shower, soap, hair shampoo and body wash. Shower had good pressure. Wifi was a hit and miss unfortunately, and tv was so-so. Gentlemen at front were exceptionally nice! Nice to have fancy coffees and tea selection, as well as orange and apple juice and a fun slushie machine as well. Thankful they give you a discount if you have surgery at the Kingston General Hospital too!"

"Excellent breakfast; nice pool and hot tub. we arrived early and we were able to check-in early. lots of shopping and restaurants close by. parking was a little scarce but that was due to many workers trucks and large vehicles that took up multiple spots, nothing that the hotel could have expected. "
