"Arrived to a sign in reception saying it is not manned and to ring the bell. Someone came after a short wait and booked me in. I paid extra for breakfast and was told my room was upstairs with key in the door. 2 flights of stairs and the room was clean and tidy. More like an apartment than a bedroom with kitchen and dining table. Nothing to allow you to have a hot drink such as milk or tea/coffee even though there is a fridge and kettle. "Excellent value for the money. The hotel is in a great location, about a 15-minute walk from the city center and most of the main attractions, making it easy to explore on foot. Breakfast is included, but it’s very simple: coffee, croissants and bread with butter, jam, and a pumpkin spread. There’s nothing wrong with the quality, but if you’re expecting a more substantial breakfast, it’s worth planning ahead or adjusting your expectations. The staff is very friendly and genuinely tries to help. Their English is somewhat limited, which can occasionally make communication a bit challenging, but they always make an effort. One thing to keep in mind is that the hotel does not offer a laundry service, so if you’re planning a longer stay and need to wash clothes, you’ll need to use a laundromat nearby. Overall, it’s a great choice if you’re looking for a clean, well-located hotel at a reasonable price."

"The staff were so hospitable and helpful, the rooms were large, clean, modern, and fantastic. We loved the breakfast spread too. The location of the hotel was so central to downtown Salzburg sites and had wonderful cafes/coffee shops and restaurants nearby. The Mirabell gardens were directly across from the street. The old town is a short walk from the hotel as well. Absolutely loved this hotel and will be staying there for sure the next time I am in Salzburg! Thank you Hyperion - you made our vacation a dream!"

"Just around the corner from the Main street of the old town- full of shops, restaurants and cafés. Stayed in the “Residence” annex building across the road from the hotel. Large room, comfortable, air con, window shutters The hotel has a pool, gym and sauna but I didn’t have time to use them I ate breakfast at a nearby cafe, so can’t comment on the hotel’s offering Parking was €22 additional and was 3 minutes walk away"

"The room was lovely. Charming and clean. The staff was really helpful, welcoming and lovely to work with. The bedding could use an update. The room information discussed different pillow options, but when asking there were no other options available. The down pillows are nice but for someone who is allergic and needs a firmer pillow it would be nice to have options. Also since there is no air conditioning, bamboo sheets that can be cooler might be a good update. But we loved the vibe. Kind of a retro speakeasy vibe. The street was busy and lively, but the hotel was quiet and you could easily get a good nights sleep. Loved our stay."
