"Overall it was a really enjoyable stay at the Matterhorn. It was quiet, the rooms were clean and well appointed, and there were plenty of great restaurants and shops within easy walking distance. The only thing I think prospective visitors need to know is that while it is a resort town, it looked like there was only one bar open past 10pm. All the other shops/restaurants close around 9pm or so. Other than that, the stay was amazing and the mountain views were absolutely stunning!"

"Beautiful setting! Walking distance into town. Super quiet rooms. Comfortable beds and nice decor in the room. The lady checking us in was super friendly and helpful with information about the area. There is a walk alongside the river just behind the hotel, beautiful scenery. "

"The setting was so beautiful. Pink petunia baskets everywhere. It had the added beauty of the river running along the property. Great views! It even had a dog park behind for the pets that stayed at the motel. I would stay there again, for sure."

"We really enjoyed our two night visit here! Our host, Connor, was very welcoming and friendly. He even assisted other guests with their car problem! Happy hour was fun out on the patio - we met some very friendly people. Black Bear Manor is right downtown with stores just an easy walk away. Also very close to the river! Would definitely stay here again!"
