"I loved my stay in Montana and I can see why it was voted as Norway’s best hostel. The highlight for me was the activities organised by the great team of volunteers. I was lucky to be there on a Sunday so joined the hike to Baunehytten - beautiful scenery, lake swimming and coffee and waffles. In terms of practicalities, the hostel is a 20 min bus trip from the bus station (which is very close to the train station). Take bus 12 and you can buy a ticket (49) on board. "Location can’t be beat. Hostel is clean and nicely decorated, it’s basic. Had difficulty figuring out how to communicate with the hostel staff after booking through Expedia but once I figured it out they were quick to respond. There are no staff on site. They email directions. I didn’t have any difficulty following them but there are many door PIN codes you need to get to your room."

"Ok place to stay, should get some better ventilasion in the rooms though. But else its ok"
