A simple, comfortable and affordable multi-story hotel in walking distance from the train station and the main commercial drag. All the basics were there -- good A/C, hot water, water pressure, thoughtful room design, helpful front desk.

Maybe the best showers in the world. Fire hose water pressure, with super hot spa like water. And a big shower. Comfortable bed, flat screen TV, work desk. Nice check in and lobby area. Walkable to trains, buses and center.

A nice, basic place to stay. Clean, comfortable, with a very good breakfast bar. Close to the train station, and Galeria. On a street which has public transportation running most hours of the day, which caused minor noise at night. Front desk staff was very informative, helped me find a florist and church the first day of my stay.

The hotel was very conveniently located to the train station. The staff were very nice and the place very clean. The only drawback is the city of Katowicz itself. Its dirty and depressing. The buildings are really run down and smothered in graffiti. The people look a little rough as well. I did not feel unsafe, but I really limited my tourism so as not to run into trouble.

Only thing i didnt like is you have to pay for every extra. There is no parking and it is pretty expensive to use the underground parking. Breakfasts were really good but again costs like 12 US dollars per day for the breakfast but you get a lof of food. Staff were great and room was quiet. But mattresses were like 4 inches thick kinda felt like sleeping on the plywood and not a mattress.

We stayed here for proximity to the Auchwitz Museum we visited. This is a cheap and cheerful hotel, that has recently been modernized and refurbished, and has a great location for the center of Katowice and the transportation hubs. The rooms are clean, and the bathroom/ shower are modern and high functioning. The downside was the towels were limited to bath towels and the quality (thickness) was not aligned with the overall high standard; the pillows were also poor when considered against the recent investment. The customer facing service at reception was functional, but neither warm or welcoming. We spent 2 nights here and on reflection would only have stayed the single night. Considering it’s overall package, I would not recommend this for extended stays, or to those who expect a certain comfort level.

Overall our stay was quite good. The location is excellent and very walkable, and the price is great. We had some issues during check in where the room code provided would not work for our door, so we had to return to the front desk twice to get a new code. After the second code did not work, we were given a different room on a different floor. It was a bit of a hassle going up and down the elevator several times and having to move our bags around, but I know it wasn't the fault of the woman at reception. Overall the room was good, the only issue was that the shower in the washroom leaked terribly, so the whole floor and towel got soaked. There also appeared to be some mold, which was likely due to this leak from prior guests. We were only here for one night but I would stay again for 1-2 nights.

Really good hotel in the city center of KTW. It’s easy to arrive with public transportation & you can walk in the city easily. The staff could be better, really quiet during check-in (no information about breakfast times, check-out time or something else).
