"We stayed at the apartment for three nights and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience from the moment we arrived. Firstly, the apartment was not clean and had a strong cigarette smoke smell every time we entered. The kitchen floor was extremely greasy and slippery, creating a safety concern as we almost slipped several times. "One man behind the bar was unfriendly and very abrupt and rough when helping on. There is probably a lack of staff altogether."

"Salmon Leap was a delightful place to spend a night. Just outside of Killarney, we appreciated the homey atmosphere in this very old Irish home. I was a pleasure to visit with our host. We had a delightful breakfast and used Salmon Leap as our launch point for driving the Ring of Kerry. We would stay there again."

And on the last day some guests helped themselves to some of our stuff, not fun. Very well situated, short walk to town and restaurants/shops and the other way takes you to a charming rural area very quickly. "
