"Overall a good hotel with very friendly and kind staff. Especially the manager Wan and hotel staff Nan. At first we weren't satisfied with the room because it was an older not refurbished part of the hotel. The staff gave us a different room in the new refurbished part of the hotel with nicer newer room. The hotel is beautiful and has a nice view over Kata beach. Although the hotel is up a slight hill without sidewalks there is shuttle to Kata Beach every hour. Pool area was good and the gym had...

"The breakfast was great and room fairly comfterble. My only complaint was the bed was very hard but not a deal breaker. The staff was always super polite and on point. Would stay here again. Was not able to swim due to very rough sea state and red flag warning so if you want to swim in the ocean be sure to check the seasons for calm seas. Pool was very nice and connnected to a bar which was fun and awesome. "

"This is our sixth stay at katathani over 10 years. We have seen the resort change and improve over the years but the basic characteristics are the same: a very large resort along a beach which is almost predominantly used by hotel guests with a number of small restaurants and shops on the outside of the resort and 5 or six within the resort. We came originally as a couple and now we have three children and it is still brilliant. "
