"This is a new property in Kastraki, which is a 15 min walk or 5 euro taxi ride from the town of Kalambaka. Kastraki is a small, quaint village at the foot of the monasteries in Meteora. There is a lovely family run restaurant just at the end of the road, and a bakery across the street. The rooms themselves are well designed, modern and comfortable. For a fee, ask about late check out. It’s very much worth it given the transportation options out of Kalambaka. I’d definitely come back again!"

"We had a fantastic stay at Epavlis Meteora Suites during our time in Greece! The owners, Spyros and Mary, were really friendly and made us feel at home, welcoming us with cherries from their tree. The property is really well kept with great views of the Meteora rocks on one side and Kalabaka/plain of Thessaly on the other. The room was very comfortable, clean and quiet. The breakfast was also great - homemade with local ingredients. Bear in mind that the hotel is located up a steep(ish) hill...

"Electric range and washer were out of order. There was no microwave either. It was too inconvenient to cook only with a coffee pot. The owner asked me to turn on only one circuit breaker between kitchen one and bathroom one when we need. We had to keep both circuit breakers turned off while we do not use them upon his request."

"It was an overall pleasant stay. Great communication which made the check-in really easy!!! Location is just right for walking to the town center for a coffee, bakery, or dinner. There was an AC unit but the remote was missing. Thankfully it gets cold during the night so it worked out well-back balcony door and the front balcony window open. "

"Ruim appartement op loopafstand van het centrum van Kalambaka met veel winkels en restaurants. Gratis parkeren voor de deur. Kloosters van Meteora op een kwartier rijden. Locatie was uitstekend. Ramen voorzien van rolluiken en horren. Grote koelkast, jacuzzi in een tweede badkamer. Zachte, grote handdoeken. Alleen de keukeninrichting was ondermaats. Drie messen voor zes personen is niet echt voldoende, en hetzelfde gold voor glazen, kopjes etc."
