"A fabulous smallish personable hotel. All the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Our suite was perfect for the three of us, two adults and mid-teenager. Good selection on the menu for lunch and dinner. Good quality breakfast, apart from some rather rubbery scrambled eggs... All reasonably priced. Thoroughly recommended for a short break."

"Staff very friendly and efficient. Food was excellent and always served with a smile. Reading room was a bonus, very comfortable and quiet with door to beautiful garden. Rooms were clean, water pressure in shower was not great but adequate. Double bed was actually 2 singles pushed together but they didn’t actually match. 1 was comfortable though. Despite that I would definitely recommend it and will definitely stay again."

"We stayed on the 9th and again on the 13th for two separate nights. The first nights room was on the ground floor and suited us perfectly. The second nights room was on the third floor up quite a lot of stairs and along many corridors. We were asked if we wanted help with the luggage, thank you. Although the rooms contained the same elements, it felt smaller as it was in the roof space. It felt hot but a fan was provided. The staff are all lovely, welcoming and helpful and we will continue to return when visiting Guernsey. Breakfast is excellent with plenty of choices. There is parking if needed. Would always recommend this hotel."

We were happy to receive an upgraded room on this occasion. Everything was super clean. Gorgeous bed linen and the comfiest pillows. "We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay. The hotel is attractively set in large grounds. Our room was large, spotlessly clean and had a small balcony. Every single member of staff we met was welcoming. They went out of their way to engage with us and help -this included the reception, bar & dining and housekeeping staff. The breakfast area was calm and well managed with a good range of options. We chose to take our evening meals in the Terrace Bar. There was a large range of options to choose from and the staff were very helpful - especially Amy who served us very professionally most nights."
