"I have stayed in many very good hotels but this was possibly the best Hotel that I have stayed in, although the outside of the building is rather bland compared to say the Mandarin Oriental, or the Old Cataract in Aswan, the inside is perfect along with wonderful staff and service, plus for a Japanese hotel the rooms are very big, highly recommended."

"It was a great hotel for the price, it was a bit far from the station and not many things to do around the area. If you want a cheap and good enough place to stay at for your trip to Nagoya I recommend it!"

"Came back a second night. Since we were still in the area another night. The new front staff were good. Bedding room and bathroom were all clean.
Room was still what I would call old/dated but well kept. Just not the carpet. Carpet was well stained, old and thread bare in places."

"It was a clean and confortable place, but anyway, I don't know why, there was nobody for my check-in, nor the six days I stayed there, I only saw work people there two times. So well, it's a good place, but if there's nobody to look after it, well, you can't ask for help or maybe end up sleeping over on the street. Also, in japanese night there's practically no streetlights and it was almost imposible to find the place (it's like hidden behind and enormous stone wall)"

"This was a very cute boutique hotel in a residential neighborhood. It was a very short walk from the train station so it was convenient traveling from Osaka. It was charming and very reasonable for me, my husband and son. The room had 3 beds and everything we needed. So glad we stayed here and would stay again. The hot beverage machine in the lobby was very nice. The staff was very nice, too."

"I recently stayed at this hotel and was disappointed with the room’s air conditioning. It wasn’t working properly, and despite speaking with the staff, I was told that “this is just how air conditioning is in Japan.” However, I’ve stayed at other hotels in Japan, and their air conditioning worked perfectly fine, so this explanation didn’t make sense.
Because of the poor temperature control, the stay was uncomfortable, and the response from the staff was not very helpful."
"Check in was easy with incredibly courteous front staff, clean room and a lovely breakfast buffet assortment. Easy to get to from Nagoya train station. "
"Staff were so friendly, the room was amazing, and the whole hotel was very clean. Thank you so much for helping to make our first time in Nagoya so nice! "
"Breakfast was excellent. A/C was modern and efficient. I would like to commend front desk staff Mr Kato for going above and beyond. While trying to use the luggage sending service the onward hotel stated we had NO reservations and could not accept our large suitcases. We provided Mr Kato with our reservation and confirmation number and Mr Kato took over from there. Even though it took over an hour he resolved the reservation issue. What a relief. He even secured reservations at JR Gateway Nagoya for us in case the other ryokan did not come through. "
"Wow, we just finished an unbelievable stay at this wonderful brand new hotel. The building and accommodations were stunningly beautiful. Artistic grandeur at every turn. Wonderful views of Nagoya Castle and their own private Japanese garden. An extraordinary swimming pool, onsen, and sauna with full cedar logs.
What was even more impressive was the generous and dedicated staff. They pampered us, treated us exceptionally at every opportunity. They all made us feel like special guests.
We met the manager of the hotel, the manager of the restaurants on site, along with pleasant introductions to dozens of attentive hotel employees. We never have had such a wonderful experience from top to bottom.
Nagoya was an unplanned stop during our Japan vacation and now we are already trying to see when we can get back to Japan and specifically Espacio Nagoya Castle since we can't stop thinking about what a great time we had there."
