"My daughter and I ended up here because of multiple flight cancellations on our return home due to a snow storm. We stayed here four days. Rosie, the woman who runs the hotel, was beyond friendly and accommodating to our needs. The hotel is outdated and far from luxurious BUT the views and the people running the place made the stay priceless. There are a few restaurants to eat within walking distance and there is a few stores open till 10pm to purchase goods, snacks, fruits, etc. The town is up on the mountains of Alejula outside of the capital San Jose. I highly recommend a stay here, even if it is a few nights- just for the view and small town in a beautiful mountain vibe. I would love to return here understand different circumstances that are less stressful (other than four canceled flights.)"
