The hotel is within 10 minutes of the things we wanted to see and do. That is the reason for my rating. The property is old, no renovations at all. The water in the shower took forever to warm up and didn't last more than 2 minutes at the time. It smells like an old place, but they do a good job trying to keep it clean. We are thrifty travelers and didn't mind the location.

First off, you have to give 150$ deposit which you could have spent on a nicer hotel. The room was nice but there was no hot water and the reply i got from the guy at the front desk was let it run 20 mins. They also don't give change for the vending machines. The young lady who works days is very helpful tho.

We stayed in this motel several times before..Its clean,quiet,staff is polite. On one occasion my husband had a medical emergency and the staff was very helpful in a stressful situation.

An older motel. Clean, comfortable, but a bit seedy. Hallway light was out. Security latch on door was broken. Breakfast was pretty much standard and good, with eggs sausage, waffles, beverages, etc. Friendly staff. Pretty much worth the price paid.

It was okay- expensive for the quality, not super clean, outdated- looked more like a dorm room than a hotel, but the staff was friendly and the bed was comfortable. It was 10 min from downtown.

Location is central to most attractions in KC metro area, easy highway access, safe area, plenty of parking. Parking lots could be cleaned more often, Staff are not accommodating, pool is never opened, And luggage carts are only kept in the lobby. Business Center has nothing in it but a desk. Pictures show a computer (doesn’t work), printer (kept behind the front desk and told to email the staff and they will print what is needed.)

Upon arrival there was a funky smell in the hallways. The room needs some work. There was obvious attempts to cover holes but no attempt to repaint. The bathroom was lacking enough towels for the three of us and it was a room that was sized for four. There was trash on the bathroom floor. The shower pressure was ok and temperature was good however it felt like you were walking on a water bed. The window had a conaistent draft blowing through and you could hear outside like you were out there. The smoke alarm was missing its cover. The last night of our stay we heard the fire alarm and the fire truck arrived. But there was no communication on what yo do from hotel staff so we assumed everytbing was ok. The ice machine was not working either The beds were clean and surprisingly comfortable minus the pillows. Price was low so I wasnt expecting much overall!

From the outside i was questioning whether we wanted to stay as it looked very rundown. The lobby and hallway were better and the room was very clean. The bathtub had a huge soft spot and was very slippery.

This place was okay. The room was pretty clean, but had a horrible smell. We were not sure if it was chemical, or mildew from the AC. The pool is out of service. The room was very quiet and the cable TV worked. Breakfast was pretty standard and good, waffles cereal, yogurt, plenty of drink options. They required a deposit upon staying, which seemed quite high for the quality of the room.

Hotel looked dated on the outside, landscaping needs help, hallway smelled like weed. But the room was updated, modern, very clean, comfortable bed. Shower was way too hot, so that could use some adjusting (even after messing with it for 10 minutes). Was a comfortable place to spend the night.

For the price they charge find another hotel. This is not worth it. The room served its purpose of giving my sister and I a place to sleep and to get off the road. However I do not recommend this location. The room was fair, the beds were decent. The carpet was sticky so I did not walk around without shoes on. The breakfast, was almost non existent. They had the waffle maker up and working at least but no eggs or sides no toast no bagels, no fresh fruit just waffles, random cereal and apple and orange juice. Their coffee station poor. Only creamer they have available was powdered creamer in the little packets. Lastly, the homeless people in the parking lot ask for money and cigarettes was definitely uncomfortable. I would not come back to this location, there are better hotels for better pricing.

The staff are excellent at the desk. Nice in the room…I was very surprised at how poorly kept it was. The blinds were broken, light bulbs missing, copious amounts of literal trash under the bed, as well as stains on the sheets. I can say with absolute certainty I’ll NEVER book a room there again. And honestly might just over look Baymont by Wyndham all together. It’s not the first one I’ve been mortified by, unfortunately.
