"A beautiful resort complex, the mini homes are spacious and comfortable. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The full board option was a good choice with breakfast lunch and dinner being a broad array for the buffet with differing choices each day with some staples remaining consistent. The chefs were kind enough to do hoppers in a way that I wanted that was fresh. The pool was closed at the time for maintenance, however you could use the sister hotel’s pool which was a 10min walk away. The only minor issue was that the Expedia listing stated a discount on the food and beverages or spa treatments. When it came to check out, this hadn’t been lodged in the system and the bill hadn’t reflected the discount. Upon showing the hotel staff the Expedia listing, they then honored the discount. This is issue is not a reflection on the staff at the hotel but rather the head office who have made an error in the listing. "

"A lovely stay at here ..room was a little far away from pool and restaurant but quiet and peaceful by the lake . Fabulous buffet -lots of variety and good quality . Sri Lankan options always best !! Efficient friendly service "

"Utterly excellent hotel. Food, setting, staff, rooms, spa and pool all brilliant. From here we used hotel drivers to go to Sigiriya, elephant safari, Pollanawa and Arandupura. Highly recommend "

"This is a beautiful property with spacious rooms that make you feel like you are living in a lush green space. Clean rooms, nice space to work, comfortable bed. The only small complaint I have is the internet was a little slow, video calls for work were blurry, but it worked! Breakfast buffet was really good with lots of options. Bar was pretty pricy but it was nice. The pool was also a welcome amenity after hiking. Would definitely recommend. "
