"I love the majesty and history of this grand hotel. Inside and out, this hotel is breathtaking. The food was good but expensive ($24 for a BLT!!). The staff was top notch. My biggest complaint is that the walls are thin and I heard everyone walking and talking as they walked by. I even heard the TV in the next room left on all night. The fixtures are on the older side - one lamp was not working. Old time style bath which was OK with me. I enjoyed nearby hiking, horseback riding and firepit. "

"There’s no room service available at the Inn so after 4 days the trash was overflowing. We also ran out of toilet paper. Also, breakfast used to be so much better. They reduced the offerings of the continental breakfast and started offering items a la carte which is all fine but for the price, I’d expect at least some basic bread and butter at the buffet. It was a bit disappointing this time."

"We were upgraded to the Breton Arms property, which is much nicer than the Lodge. Still way behind the Omni Mount Washington Resort. Dining is very difficult. Reservations need to be made waaay in advance. And there isn’t anywhere else to eat. We had to buy a pizza 30 miles away and take it back to our room, so we could eat at a normal time. "
