"Overall, it was a decent stay, however for a "Design Hotel", we weren't really that impressed. The view from our room (and we assume rooms like ours) all face inward to a 'dead' space that overlooked an internal courtyard area, that was closed off and had bits of trash from construction in it... the otherrooms also overlooked the same area, and could see into our rooms - so that meant that we had to keep our curtains closed and it was just a dark stay. There were no coffee machines, and the matress was a thin layer futon. It was fine, it just felt a bit odd. The bathroom was the nicest part of the room, and the access to the spa was the best part of it. The spa is quite small and is unisex; and whilst you get complimentary access (if you book a slot) it did seem quite crowded. In saying that, this hotel has been highly recommended by a lot of magazines, so I think it's intended to be one of the best in Helsinki and we still did enjoy our stay - it just wasn't at the same standard as the other "Design Hotels" we've been to."
