This place is awesome! My new favorite place in Kampala. If you’re staying in the Muyenga area, this is a must. The staff is friendly, the food is good, and the rooftop bar has the most incredible view. Definitely recommend. I’ll be staying here again for sure.

Zara Hotel is a very good place to stay in, its clean with very good variety of food. My disappointment this last stay in the hotel, is with some members of staff at the reception that demostrated have poor hospitality and customer care services towards some customers. I had to pay twice before refunding me back. I was disppointed more by wasting time explaining myself on the same issue which is a result of someone's incompetence at the front desk.

My stay at Zara Garden was wonderful. From the minute I arrived, I was made to feel welcome. The manager and staff were so friendly yet very professional. There was a problem with my WiFi, which was immediately resolved by their IT professional. The breakfast buffet was fabulous, with local as well as international options. My suite was spacious and comfortable. I sincerely appreciate and enjoyed the 5 star treatment I received at Zara Garden and highly recommend.

I really loved almost everything about Zara Gardens Hotel and the food from the restaurants are amazing. Sometimes the Wifi signal drops momentarily so they need to make it more stable all over the property. Thanks to the whole staff for their excellent hospitality

I had my wedding reception at this hotel, where I booked the entire event space and paid for the food. The operations manager, Miriam, repeatedly altered the pricing and demanded cash payments. On the event day, the space was dirty and not properly set up, and they allowed other people into the area despite it being reserved solely for my event. The day after checking out, I inquired about any outstanding charges and was informed there were none. However, a few hours later, Miriam called me with threats, claiming an additional 600,000 Ugandan shillings was owed. This was both shocking and absurd—how could they claim I owed money after I had already checked out? When I returned to the hotel to speak with the general manager, the staff informed me he was unavailable and were hesitant to provide his name. I managed to find his contact information through a quick online search and discovered he was at the hotel the entire time. Having traveled extensively and stayed at many hotels, I have never encountered such a level of incompetence. I had high hopes for this hotel and venue but I wouldn't even stay here for free.
