Lovely hotel with several restaurants, a roof top bar, two very nice pool areas and a fitness center. Quite the oasis and a nice refuge from the hustle and bustle of Kampala. Would love to come back.
The stylish and impeccable interior design is the key selling point for me. I also stayed in the Lusaka Latitude where I loved just walking in the corridors. Gorgeous! Food, service also excellent. Can’t recommend this boutique hotel group highly enough.
What a beautiful location situated on a hill in Kampala. The resort is well maintained, has a couple pools, a gym, spa and restaurants with good food.
Excellent friendly service feom all lf the staff.
Incredible hotel, and 5 star in every respect. Beautiful rooms, great facilities, 3 restaurants and great food. Staff are amazing. Views over Kampala and suburbs are sublime.
It’s clear the entire staff has been well trained to be attentive of every need the client may have (even before the guest knows!) There are cozy little spaces to sit and enjoy the fresh air, or settle with a good book and cup of tea. Spectacular sundown views always.
Beautiful hotel. Room was lovely. Had an A/C problem but they brought a fan immediately which was great. The breakfast was delicious!!! Dinner was great too. But poolside and room service menu’s were very average including the food.
I would definitely stay there again. Staff are so friendly.
This property is unique and the decor is lovely, the room we had was somewhat small and the bathroom insufficiently lit. It was comfortable and quiet and offered two pools and a lot of outside and inside sitting areas. We ate at the restaurants and the food was ok. I used the gym which offered a variety of equipment some which was in need of repair but it was clean.
This hotel is Fantastic it was my first time visiting I was treated very well by staff food was really good from what I ate.
But this hotels decor and Garden Feel are outstanding I don’t know who the designers were but they selected fantastic Materials.
Loved it
I am a frequent traveller to Uganda, as I work in the travel industry. I rarely ever write reviews. I have stayed at the Latitude many times since it opened. What was once my favourite, and the best hotel in Kampala, has now become tired and very run down. Management has made unfortunate decisions with the layout - the buildings and pool areas look tired, unreliable wifi in common areas, and the staff could use some encouragement as they are not engaged. Latitude is a boutique hotel - the decision to move the gym in favour of another conference room was unfortunate. The gym used to be amazing. There are more than enough other conference hotels in Uganda! The food is overpriced, generally confusing menu (no prices listed on some menus), and really just overall lacking. Most notably, one morning the entire staff was eating from the breakfast buffet, while I was trying to get the last remaining food as a guest. The design, food, and layout/vibe of the hotel, which made the place so special - is no more. Very disappointed. We actually checked out early to move hotels. Of course, no refund or special accommodations. I will not return until management makes some changes.
Latitude 0 Degrees is one of the most beautiful accommodations I've ever had the pleasure of experiencing! From the moment I stepped foot inside, I was absolutely blown away by the exquisite decor from all over the African continent. Even MORE enchanting, I had the opportunity to chat with the architect himself! The way the designers seamlessly blended stunning antiques from all over our beautiful continent with impeccable attention to detail and the most flattering lighting is breathtaking.
The rooftop restaurant ambiance especially noteworthy when the sun sets and the room magically transforms. It's not just the aesthetics that make Latitude 0 Degrees stand out—it's the incredible staff too. Ereu and Ivan were cheerful, helpful and knowledgeable, providing just the right amount of guidance without being intrusive.
The bars are fully stocked with everything you could possibly want, and with three gorgeous restaurants to choose from, you'll have African, Asian and Italian dining options.
The rooms are gorgeous, comfortable, and well-appointed. From the plush furnishings to the thoughtful touches, every detail has been carefully considered to ensure a luxurious stay.
I honestly cannot recommend Latitude 0 Degrees highly enough to anyone who appreciates impeccable style and sensational experiences—all at a reasonable price!
