"Location Location Location The guesthouse was a wonderful location to access the hiking trail to the glacier. We stayed in one of the two-unit bunk houses. The room was small but we enjoyed it. Despite the howling winds, we were cozy. Our main goal was to hike to the glacier. We were provided with a great breakfast for hiking. It offered an array of food options that left us ready for a morning long trek. The staff was excellent. This is a no frills option that was more than adequate for...

"Apotek Guesthouse is the place you must stay in Hofn! We absolutely loved our two nights there and would go back in a heartbeat. Pristine in all areas, great wifi, plenty of hot water, lovely kitchen area which guests are welcome to use, dining area, lovely coffee and hot chocolate machine, cereal and cake free breakfast - beds are sooo comfie, honestly a 10/10 stay. Across the road a lovely swimming pool with hot tubs - a great restaurant not too pricey and a lemon garage a few more steps up...

"Ekra Glacier Lagoon was a really nice place for us to stay near Jökulsárlón and Diamond Beach. The setting was gorgeous with a bunch of waterfalls right behind our room! It's set back away from the road, so it was very quiet and peaceful. The bed was super comfortable and had firm and soft pillows to choose from. The room was clean and had a mini fridge, kettle, french press, with coffee, tea, sugar and creamer. I would definitely stay here again the next time I visit the South Coast of Iceland....
